With its next album being titled “…And Then Shoot Your Cousin,” it’s nice that ‘ new song is something a bit more cheerful.
On Monday, the Roots shared the bright new track, “Tomorrow,” which you can stream above. Surprisingly enough, the song features no rapping, instead its a soulful, R&B track with a bouncing piano line and pretty mind-blowing chord change near the end.
The band’s 11th album, the first since 2011’s “Undun” is due out on May 13 through Def Jam.
Earlier this month the Roots shared the first new material from the album, the song “When the People Cheer.”
