A pedestrian was injured Tuesday when hit by a truck in northeast Denver. The driver fled the scene.
The incident happened near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Fairfax Street, according to a Denver Police Department tweet.
Police describe the vehicle as a white, construction style truck.
The police department put a post on Twitter about the incident at 1:42 p.m.
Police said the victim suffered a foot injury.
