An accident involving a car and a bicyclist just east of Civic Center that left one person with serious bodily injuries has caused several road closures, Denver police said in a tweet.
The accident happened about 7 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Logan Street.
The accident was not a hit-and-run, police said.
The area was clogged with traffic because of Independence Day celebrations at the park nearby.
