A Colorado Springs man was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison Monday for purchasing over 100 child pornography videos over several years, the Colorado U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Clifton Brett Bennett, 56, will also face 10 years of supervised release at the end of his prison sentence, the office said in a news release Wednesday. Bennett was in September 2013 and relating to the child pornography in May.

Postal inspectors found that a man in Colorado Springs, later identified as Bennett, has spent $4,000 on the illicit videos from 2008 to 2011, according to court records.

During a search of Bennett’s home, law enforcement officers located images of nude young boys in explicit positions. Bennett was also found to be a member of the “North American Man-Boy Love Association.”

Along with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Colorado Springs Police Department aided in the investigation into Bennett.

Bennett’s arrest was part of Project Safe Childhood, a 2006 initiative to end the growing problem of child sexual exploitation and abuse, the release said.
