Death by gun again.

The parents of a 9-year-old Arizona girl now have the rest of their lives mapped out. It amounts to answering one simple question over and over: What were you thinking? Not enough, quite obviously.

The ignorance and arrogance of assault-type weapon ownership in the United States is stupefying. There probably won’t be any Ferguson-type marches and protests in Arizona, but there should be. This incident was just as disturbing.

Mom and Dad were recording everything on a cellphone. There you have 21st century America in a nutshell.
