
LED High-bay luminaires
Details: CXB Series LED high-bay indoor light fixtures with model numbers CXB-23L-40K-U-1-HC and CXB-23L-40K-U-1-JP, used in airport, industrial, municipal and retailer settings. The fixtures are silver-colored, have a tempered glass lens and measure about 16 by 18 by 7 inches.
Why: The glass lens on the fixture can break, posing a laceration hazard.
Incidents: 15 reports of the lens breaking; no injuries

Hewlett-Packard and compaq notebook computer AC power cords
Details: LS-15 AC power cords were distributed with HP and Compaq notebook and mini notebook computers and with AC adapter-powered accessories such as docking stations. The power cords are black with an “LS-15” molded mark on the AC adapter end of the power cord.
Why: The cords can overheat, causing fires.
Incidents: 29 reports of cords overheating, melting or charring; two claims of minor burns and 13 claims of minor property damage.

Ace Bayou bean bag chairs
Details: Recalled chairs have zippers that open and were sold in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and fabrics. They include round or L-shaped, vinyl or fabric chairs are filled with polystyrene foam beads. The round bean bag chairs were sold in three sizes, 30, 32 and 40 inches in diameter. The L-shaped bean bag chair measures 18 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 30 inches high. “ACE BAYOU CORP” is printed on a tag sewn into the bean bag chair’s cover seam. They were made in China and sold at various retailers and online before July 2013.
Why: The zippers on the bean bag chairs can be opened and children can then crawl inside, get trapped and suffocate or choke on the bean bag chair’s foam beads.
Incidents: A 13-year-old boy from McKinney, Texas and a 3-year-old girl from Lexington, Ky., died. Both children were found inside the chairs.

StoveTop firestop microhood fire suppressors
Details: The fire-suppression device mounts over a residential cooktop stove and underneath a microwave oven. The Microhood units are plastic/metal and come in black and white. Recalled model numbers are 677-1 (black) and 677-2 (white) with a “Replace Before” date of June 2014 thru August 2019. This date is located on the bottom of each unit.
Why: The Microhood front canister can fall from the unit and fail to suppress the fire.
Incidents: None reported.
