The Denver Museum of Nature & Science has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory for “The Secret Lives of Birds,” a new series of monthly programs. The lineup includes Dr. Edwin Scholes, evolutionary biologist at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, presenting “The Beautiful World of the Birds of Paradise,” 7 p.m. Sept. 11; Greg Budney, curator of audio at Cornell Lab’s Macaulay Library, on “Bird Sounds: From the Beautiful to the Bizarre,” 7 p.m Oct. 21; and Joel Greenberg, author and naturalist, on “The Passenger Pigeon’s Flight to Extinction,” 7 p.m. Nov. 5.
