Re: “Cyclists are trading spandex for apparel that goes from trail to trendy restaurants,” Sept. 4 Colorado Style story.
As an avid cyclist, the first thing I noticed about the photo of the rider in Thursday’s Colorado Style section was how her outfit blended into the city backdrop. Grays and blacks are poor color choices for two-wheeled commuters, particularly as we enter the low-light conditions of the fall. Take a cue from road workers who are always dressed so that they can be seen by motorists. Wear bright colors. Avoid urban camouflage.
