1 The trailer was rockin’. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to the parking lot of Safeway, 3851 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen, on Aug. 28, on a report of yelling and rocking coming from a green and white trailer that was chained shut. A man said he had been sleeping in the trailer when he awoke to his girlfriend yelling at him about a text message from his ex-girlfriend. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

2 Hammock damaged. Golden Police responded to the 1700 block of Rimrock Drive, Golden, on Aug. 24, where a resident reported damage to his hammock. He suspected his neighbors cut the hammock’s ropes because they are unhappy over his allegedly loud swamp cooler. He did not wish to pursue investigation, just wanted it reported.

3 Wayward arrow found, returned. On Aug. 29, a resident of the 30000 block of Chesnut Drive, Evergreen, reported the discovery of an arrow lodged in a tree in her yard. She later notified Jeffco Sheriff that the owner of the arrow was found; a neighbor who missed during target practice. He was advised of target practice safety.

4 Woman allegedly tries to sic dog on man. A resident of the 2600 block of South End Road, Kittredge, called Jeffco Sheriff on Aug. 30 after his ex-girlfriend came to his house with her pit bull following a domestic argument. He said she removed the dog’s muzzle and told it to “sic him.” Deputies requested a warrant for her arrest.

5 Graffiti. Jeffco Sheriff received a report Aug. 28 that someone spray painted “soap and Denver” on a retaining wall at County Road 73 and U.S. 285, Conifer.
