A motorcyclist was seriously injured after losing control of the bike on northbound Interstate 25 late Saturday morning and crashing, authorities say.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The person’s current condition is not known.
The crash happened just before noon on I-25 between Downing Street and South University Avenue, said Sonny Jackson, denver police spokesman. The motorcyclist did not strike another vehicle as police originally reported.
The rider lost control and skidded into an embankment. The name of the victim has not been released.
