Re: “Prosecutor was first to fumble Rice case,” Sept. 12 editorial.
Thanks for reminding everyone that law enforcement is responsible for identifying and acting upon violations of the law, which are not the responsibility of the employer of the legal offender. The current outrage concerning the actions of football star Ray Rice should be directed at the prosecutor first, as well as at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his wishy-washy response to the incident involving Rice.
