Aurora Water is working to repair a water main break on Havana Street at 13th Avenue.
According to a company spokesman, a private company was doing work in the area when crews accidently struck a water main.
Officials said northbound traffic on Havana is being detoured to Lola Street using 13th and 14th avenues.
Southbound traffic is not impacted by the repair work, which is expected to last until about 7 p.m. Drivers have been asked to pursue alternate routes.
