We’ve hope you’ve enjoyed following the “ vs. Brunch” scandal as much as we have. And if you haven’t, allow us to catch you up.
In an , Casablancas was quoted saying, I don’t know how many, like, white people having brunch I can deal with on a Saturday afternoon.”
Well, after Twitter lashed out at Casablancas as being anti-brunch, he responded in another , defending his love of brunch and bashing the GQ reporter.
“God, that quote. People are mad about it! Itap so true, but I guess you can’t say it. That GQ reporter was bogus, anyway. He was a total part-of-the-problem yuppie guy,” Casablancas said
Monday afternoon, Casablancas went on what he called a Twitter rant to deliver a statement on brunch, and also address Strokes relations and some thoughts on journalism.
