Preserving Colorado’s history
The Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund recently released the sixth in a series of collectible holiday ornaments. The 2014 edition is Claude’s Cutty Sark, a replica of Claude Boettcher’s favorite model ship. The cost is $30 plus $7 for shipping and handling. A new ornament is added to the series each year. All six are available for $170 ($12 shipping and handling). Fun fact: A majority of Claude’s model-ship collection is on display in the Ship Tavern at the Brown Palace Hotel.
