Police are looking for an armed and dangerous felony suspect believed to be in the Denver area.
Gregory Lewis is wanted by Denver Police for sex assault, kidnapping and aggravated robbery. He is also wanted in North Carolina and Massachusetts on a variety of serious charges, including statutory rape
Lewis is described as a white male, approximately 6-0, 235 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
Police said Lewis has a tattoo of a hand holding a knife with a broken handcuff on his chest and one of a demonic female with colored eyes running from his left shoulder to his elbow.
WCVB-TV in Boston has reported that Lewis is an accused child rapist. The TV station said Lewis may be in possession of a gun, baton and handcuffs.
In Massachusetts, Lewis cut off his GPS ankle bracelet and fled the state. He returned on Sept. 25 to attack a family member and steal a gun, WCVB reported.
Lewis’ charges out of North Carolina relate to the case of a kidnapping, robbery and assault on Sept. 23.
Denver Police said the crimes committed in Denver happened in early to mid-October.
