1 Store policy enrages man during boots return. A man was cited for disorderly conduct Nov. 13 after he became angry and threw boots around at Gordmans, 8055 W. Bowles Ave. in the Littleton area. When Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, they contacted the man who said that he tried to return some defective boots and was told he would get a refund, minus a 15 percent refund fee per store policy. The man became very angry and began throwing other pairs of boots around. The charges were later dropped.
2 Couple reports suspicious call from own number. A man called deputies on Nov. 13 after his wife received a suspicious call that caller ID indicated was coming from their own number at their home in the 6900 block of South Lee Way in the Littleton area. The call seemed to be a scam about a credit card. The couple wanted to document the incident because of the caller ID.
3 Woman finds garage door open. On Nov. 15, a woman called deputies after she discovered her garage door open in the 1000 block of West Victoria Place in the Littleton area. The woman said she returned home and closed the garage door. In the morning she found the door open and the garage keypad was open. The woman said she never used the keypad because she does not know the combination.
4 Man awakens to egg on car. On Nov. 9, a man called deputies after he discovered egg on his car in the 6200 block of West Long Drive in the Littleton area. The man said he wanted the incident documented because he had never had problems in the neighborhood before.
