Early reports swirled that maybe Drake had in some way tried to put the moves on Diddy’s lady Cassie (it wouldn’t be the first time the Toronto star has been accused of wooing another’s lover). Now, the beat Drake used for “0-100.”
Drake released the track “0-100” on July 15 as a freestyle. The beat, produced by Boi-1da, was given to both Diddy and Drake, with the former keeping the monster production on ice longer than Drake liked, according to reports. Since July, the song has caught fire with the hip-hop community and landed on a few year-end lists.
Everything came to a head in Miami over the weekend when Diddy confronted Drake, punching him in the shoulder and exacerbating an old injury, The confrontation sent Drake straight to the ER, reports say.
At 4:52 a.m. on Monday, Drake ended up in the hospital after the fight. This report is still unconfirmed, but Sneaker also tweeted that the hospitalization was for a dislocated shoulder.
