1 Suspects damage Christmas lights, deer ornaments. A woman called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Dec. 3 after she noticed damage to deer ornaments on her lawn in the 100 block of Mesa Oak, Ken-Caryl. The woman said the deer had been knocked over and the electrical wire to its lights had been cut. The woman said the same thing happened a few days earlier and a neighbor helped her effect repairs.
2 Spray paint found on garage. On Dec. 2, a woman called deputies after her husband noticed a word spray-painted on their garage door in the 10700 block of West Berry Avenue in the Littleton area. The woman had covered the paint with some wrapping paper and her father-in-law was going to come by and clean it.
3 Man’s car marred by blue marker. A man called deputies on Dec. 3 after his car was vandalized in the 8400 block of South Holland Way in the Littleton area. The man told police that he came out in the morning and noticed blue marker on his taillights and other areas. There were no suspects.
4 Truck driver threatened by truck driver. On Dec. 5, a deputy was called to the intersection of South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Layton Avenue in the Littleton area in search of a truck driver who had just threatened a fellow trucker. The deputy could not locate the suspect. The victim said a truck cut him off, causing him to slam on his brakes, so he rudely gestured to the driver. The driver stopped his rig, got out and threatened to shoot the victim, though no gun was visible to the victim.
