After an hour of waiting, a hazy-looking took the stage at on Tuesday for his 16-and-up show in Denver.
Joints made their way around the audience as Waka (one of hip-hop’s leading pot figureheads) puffed his way through material from “Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family,” “Flockaveli” and the upcoming “Flockaveli 2.”
Waka Flocka Flame is right at home in Denver, having most recently made headlines by offering to hire a professional blunt roller. It’s a position that he’d pay someone $50,000 a year, which we pointed out is more than the yearly salary of some Colorado Rapids players…
All smoke all the time, the crowd enjoyed itself, welcoming Waka to the Mile High city by filling the venue with the smell of weed. Soon, Waka invited a few women on stage to dance, and crowd of scantily-clad young women (some of whom uncomfortably had black x’s on their hands) were dancing with the rapper.
The show featured openers Kid Vegas, Trev Rich, Future Heroes and RIMES.
