Proving weren’t merely fodder for the media, and taking his major cash cow artists ( and ) with him.

There have been early reports of Weezy planning to sue Birdman for upwards of $8 million in advance cash he was set to receive for “Tha Carter V,” and now,, the demands now include the Young Money Entertainment artist roster. TMZ is saying Wayne wants to keep artists who are still contracted including Lil Twist, Christina Milian (also Weezy’s reported girlfriend) and Mack Maine.

Lil Wayne has been vocal about his desire to sever ties with the Cash Money Records label boss. Earlier in the year, a brief Twitter war of words showed all is not well in the camp, with Weezy saying his creative control has been held hostage. He released a barrage of disses and jabs at Birdman on “Sorry 4 the Wait 2,” the project he released, some assumed, because of the hold out from the Cash Money suits.
