A 13-year-old Mesa County middle school student awaiting a pending court date to face felony drug charges was arrested last week on a warrant for the same activity.
The girl, a student at Mount Garfield Middle School, was the focus of three drug investigations by school resource sheriff’s office deputies in January, the sheriff’s office said.
The girl is suspected of distributing prescription pills, including morphine and oxycodone, the sheriff’s office said. The warrant was served Friday.
