Just a little bit of housekeeping to report on the Colorado Rapids international roster spots heading into the 2015 season.

The Rapids currently have eight international roster spots, one of which was that brought Marcelo Sarvas to Colorado.
Five of those spots are currently occupied by: Deshorn Brown (Jamaica), Gabriel Torres (Panama), Charles Eloundou (Cameroon), Axel Sjoberg (Sweden) and Lucas Pittinari (Argentina)
The Rapids said Wednesday that Vicente Sanchez (Uruguay) and Marcelo Sarvas (Brazil) have obtained Green Cards do not require international roster spots. Brown is in the process of obtaining his Green Card, the Rapids said.
When the becomes official, he would presumably require an international roster spot, leaving two available. The Rapids are still looking for a big name goal-scorer prior to the 2015 season, according to a league source.
The to Fulham’s Hugo Rodallega (Colombia) and Chivas Guadalajara’s Marco Fabian (Mexico), but The Denver Postap Mark Kiszla reported the than those two can provide.
On Monday, the Rapids announced they were (England), clearing an international roster spot.
