On a snowy Presidents’ Day in Denver, a sure sign of winter. (Photo by William Porter, The Denver Post)

Presidents’ Day 2015 has turned into a , and as the heavy, wet stuff slowly accumulates on the streets, even the most ardent bicyclists are being challenged. We ran across this gotta-grin photo while crossing the intersection at at Broadway and 16th Avenue.

While it looks like a story of wintry frustration — two-wheeled version — bike owner Brian Schweitzberger says he’s really just selling his Schwinn Traveler for distinctly non-weather reasons.

“It’s a spare bike, plus my knee is hurt,” says the Capitol Hill resident, who does minor bike repairs. “I don’t really need it so I thought I’d sell it.”

Asking price? $100. Schweitzeberger’s contact info: Hey, it’s in the photo!
