1 Vehicle tampering at park-n-Ride? On Feb. 6, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after he discovered his car likely had been tampered with at the RTD park-n-Ride at Hampden Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard in the Littleton area. A maintenance worker there said the car’s alarm went off all day, likely causing the battery to die. The passenger-side door appeared to be pried away.
2 Large fight outside North Shore bar. On Feb. 7, deputies were called to the North Shore bar, 7444 W. Chatfield Ave., Columbine (Littleton), on a report of 30 people fighting in the parking lot. When deputies arrived, most of the people dispersed. One car was left damaged.
3 Suspicious driver on C-470. A man called deputies on Feb. 6 after a possible road rage incident while driving near C-470 and Morrison Road in the Morrison area. The man said he was tailgated by a black Crown Victoria flashing its lights. The man took a picture of the car with his phone and it sped past.
4 Front door found wide open. On Feb. 1, a deputy was driving in the 9100 block of West Quincy Avenue in the Littleton area, when he noticed the front door of a residence wide open. The house was known to be vacant and had a problem with break-ins. The officer determined a worker had left the door unlocked and open.
5 Homeowner suspects burglary. A woman called deputies on Feb. 3 after her burglar alarm went off while she was sleeping. A deputy responded to the 12000 block of West Cross Avenue in the Littleton area but saw no signs of an intruder.
