A woman who was driving with a blood alcohol level roughly four and a half times the legal limit pleaded guilty Thursday to vehicular homicide.

Last November, Robbin Leigh Verser, 57, of Denver, near at the intersection of Vasquez Boulevard and 60th Avenue slamming into a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Ashley Nicole Bradberry.

Bradberry was killed in the head-on wreck.

Images from a television news helicopter showed two heavily damaged sports utility vehicles in the intersection, white cloth draped over the passenger side of one.

Verser, who was seriously injured in the crash, was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment.

The Adams County District Attorney’s Office says Verser’s blood alcohol level was .358 when she ran the red light that led to the early morning Nov. 21 crash.

Verser is set to be sentenced on April 30.
