Four people were arrested in Denver overnight after gunshots were fired at and struck a police vehicle.

The shooting happened in the area of 31st Avenue between Marion and Downing streets.

Police announced the shooting on their Twitter feed at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured in the shooting, according to police spokesman Sonny Jackson.

Officials declined to immediately release further information in the shooting and the arrests, saying their investigation is ongoing.
