A Denver police officer was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
CBS4 Denver first reported that off-duty Officer Jean Keita, who has been on the force since 2005, was arrested in Green Valley Ranch after being involved in an accident.
Reached Tuesday night, police spokesman Sonny Jackson confirmed that an officer named Keita had been arrested for a DUI and was placed on a “non-line assignment” pending the outcome of the case.
