
1 Man sends unsolicited, nude pictures. An Arvada woman in the 13400 block of West 86th Drive who responded to texts from a random stranger March 3 called police when the man sent her nude photos.
2 “Stoned” man can’t remember name. Police responding to a possible drug deal March 1 in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 8760 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, arrested a man who repeatedly provided a wrong name and birthdate. The man said he was too stoned to remember his name.
3 Jilted ex attacks. A jilted ex-girlfriend told police Jan. 28 the sight of her ex-boyfriend driving around with another woman near West 58th Avenue and Newcombe Court prompted her to chase him down. She tried to climb into the vehicle through an open window and when that didn’t work, punched the man in the face.
4 Homework on Sunday angers man. A man who had been drinking and making suicidal statements March 1 in the 5900 block of Newland Street became angry and said kids shouldn’t do homework on Sundays after his wife suggested their three kids study. He was arrested after smashing a lamp and mirror.
5 Man arrested for choking girlfriend. Police arrested a man on multiple felony charges Feb. 27 at the Savannah Suites, 6455 Sheridan Blvd. in Arvada, after he choked his girlfriend during a verbal argument.
6 Shoplifting family busted. A motherdaughter duo were issued a shoplifting summons March 4 for stealing $178 in clothing from Kohl’s at 15680 W. 64th Ave. in Arvada.
