1 Keep a low profile. Two men were arrested in the 10200 block of Idalia Street, Commerce City, after they cursed at a woman who told them to be careful crossing the street March 10. The woman reported them for jaywalking, and police discovered they all had warrants.
2 Last one to go. A man was cited Feb. 25 for urinating outside Platinum 84 at 8485 Umatilla St., Federal Heights. The suspect told police all of his friends were peeing outside, so it wasn’t fair that he got a ticket just because he went last.
3 The name game. A patrolling police officer stopped a woman for making an illegal turn in the 3900 block of E. 122nd Ave., Thornton. The suspect gave the officer a false name and address twice, then he looked in her purse and found her real name and that she had no driver’s license. She was arrested March 12.
4 Threats in the grocery store. After weeks of odd behavior from his neighbor, a man called police to the King Soopers at 15051 E. 104th Ave., Commerce City, because the neighbor walked up to him while he was shopping and suggested that he start wearing a bullet proof vest March 13.
5 Take it out on the door. A woman kicked in the door of her home’s management company in the 2900 block of Hawk Street, Federal Heights, because they had her car towed for blocking a snow plow Feb. 25. She was cited.
6 Brass knuckles. A police officer stopped a suspicious driver in the 9200 block of Pecos Street, Thornton, March 11. The driver had a suspended license and a pair of brass knuckles in the back seat. He was arrested.
