Interstate 70 has been reopened in both directions between Georgetown and Silver Plume after closing on Thursday morning because of multiple accidents.
The closure was announced at about 10:15 a.m. and the interstate reopened about an hour later.
The westbound lanes of the highway before Floyd Hill reopened at about 11:15 a.m. after closing because of a multi-car pileup at 9 a.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Loveland Pass was closed Thursday morning because of heavy snow and low visibility.
CDOT and the state patrol says weather is leading to wrecks on roads throughout the high country.
