Former Denver East star Shae Kelley was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA draft on Thursday.

Kelley, 23, was the 2010 Denver Post Ms. Basketball Colorado and was a member of the All-Colorado team that year. She was selected in the third round with the 11th pick (35th overall).

The 6-foot-1 forward from Minnesota was an All-Big Ten second team selection, averaging 17.5 points and 9.4 rebounds for the Gophers. Her teammate Amanda Zahui B. was selected by Tulsa with the second overall pick. Kelley also played collegiate basketball at Northwest Florida State and Old Dominion.
