Authorities have released the names of two women killed Wednesday night near Mead in , which also left three injured.
The Colorado State Patrol says 34-year-old Dangmany Manhkhong of Parker and 39-year-old Andrea Weiss of Fort Collins were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The patrol says 29-year-old Nacole Grim of Frederick was heading southbound on the interstate in a 2004 GMC SUV when she veered across the median into the northbound lanes striking four vehicles as she rolled.
Grim was seriously injured in the wreck and taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
Trooper Josh Lewis said alcohol, drugs and speed are not being considered factors in the wreck. Lewis said he was unaware Thursday morning of any charges Grim might face.
It was not clear Thursday morning what caused Grim to veer into oncoming traffic, according to the patrol. The wreck closed the northbound lanes of the interstate for roughly five hours.
The crash was first reported at about 7:30 p.m.
