Fortunately dodging any major precipitation, and played to a chilly, dry and very high crowd on Saturday to celebrate . An odd billing, mixing up the pop-reggae of Soja with the classic New York hip-hop of Nas, but for most of the audience just looking to celebrate the unofficial weed holiday, it was just the right amount of good vibes. Presented by the High Times Cannabis Cup, the show acted as one of the major concerts throughout the weekend to ring in 4/20 on Monday. J Boog and DJ Westafa opened the show. Other concerts throughout the weekend included Rick Ross at the Civic Center for the big 4/20 rally, Method Man and Red Man at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom for 4/20 in the Streets and others.
