Federal agents and local law enforcement are still working to identify who is wanted in five successful and two attempted bank robberies, including two incidents Thursday.

The FBI says the suspect on Thursday, , robbed a Lakewood bank and tried to rob another in Wheat Ridge.

Police in Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Broomfield, Arvada and Lakewood are also involved in the investigation into the bandit.

The suspect is described by authorities as a white or Hispanic man who is just under 6 feet tall and has a medium build, a black mustache and a short-trimmed beard.

Officials estimate the suspect weighs about 200 pounds.

“He typically approaches the teller with a note and demands money,” according to the FBI.

Authorities on Thursday released surveillance video of the bandit.

Anyone with information on the bandit is asked to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171.
