
1 Jealous meat dealer. A man who sells meat out of his car went to the home of one of his customers in the 1000 block of North Lima Street because he had a crush on her. He peaked through the living room window and saw her sitting on the couch with her male roommate April 24 and became jealous. He tried to break the front door down with a rock, and then smashed the basement window. He was arrested.
2 Don’t cross the HOA. An off-duty police officer patrolling High Hollows Condominiums at 10762 E. Exposition Ave. saw two men drive up to the complex Dumpster and throw bags of trash inside April 23. The home owner’s association has had problems with dumping, so they hired the cop to patrol the trash areas. They were given summonses.
3 Stolen handgun. A woman who lives in the 16200 block of East Alameda Avenue came home April 22 and saw that someone kicked her front door in. She called police and told them that her purse, laptop and father’s old handgun were taken.
4 Trashed truck. A man who lives in the 4600 block of South Ouray Way reported that someone broke into his truck April 27, threw his belongings all over and stole his son’s Xbox.
5 Missing packages. Two packages from Amazon were taken from a man’s porch in the 400 block of South Ironton Street on April 17. There are no suspects.
6 Get your own trash bin. A woman who lives in the 2700 block of North Xanadu Street reported that someone stole her Waste Management container from inside her fenced yard on April 23.
