1 Demolition derby. A homeowner reported someone drove through his fence in the 2400 block of South Russellville Road, Douglas County, sometime between April 30 and May 2. Police determined the driver was going southbound before pulling a sharp U-turn, smashing through the fence before traveling across the property’s driveway and back through the fence on the other side. A trail of motor oil was found, but no suspect was identified.

2 Get fit at any cost. Employees at Target, 1950 E. County Line Road, Highlands Ranch, found an empty Fitbit activity-tracking wristband box on on May 5. Security footage from May 4 showed a young man crouching down, cutting the box open, hiding the bracelet on himself, and paying for other items in cash before leaving. The bracelet is worth $99.

3 Work to do. An employee at Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply,9853 S. Parker Road, Parker, watched a woman walk out with a tool box without paying on April 27. She drove off in a gray Dodge Dakota pickup.

4 The wrong door. A resident of a home in the 23800 block of Broadmoor Drive, Parker, came home at 7:30 p.m. April 30 to find the door into their house through the garage was locked when they had previously left it unlocked. They found glass broken on their front door but nothing was missing inside the house.

5 Dastardly. A woman living in the 9400 block of Ashby Circle, Douglas County, on May 4 found her Toyota Corolla had been keyed on both sides from the hood clear to the trunk. Estimated damage was $600.
