LAKEWOOD — Lakewood police are investigating a suspicious device seen propping up a trash can at Morse Park.
The park, located at West 20th Avenue and Alison Street, has been cordoned off by officers. Officers at the scene told 7NEWS crews that the device appears to be a “type of hand grenade.”
A police hazardous materials team has been called out to the scene.
