A 39-year-old woman bit off part of a man’s ear and chased him with a knife in a motel room near downtown Colorado Springs late Tuesday night, police said.
Jade August Gurley was arrested after she allegedly took out “a quarter size chunk” of the man’s left ear with her teeth and attempted to stab the victim on the 1400 block of South Nevada, police said.
“The missing portion of the ear was recovered, as well,” police said in a statement. “Unfortunately it could not be reattached.”
