Because we can’t all spend July to September in a drop-top convertible, there is no one-size fits all for summer jams. Instead, they come in all shapes and sizes. Acoustic pop ballads for late weekend mornings, your windows opened wide. Sultry nocturnal movers for the third glass of wine, up on some rooftop downtown, always festooned with paper lanterns. And yeah, bottom-heavy wubs bass-y enough to rattle off the doors of your car.
No matter how different they are, they’re unified by the underlying optimism that comes with summer. The feeling that if tonight isn’t that night, there’s a great story right around the corner of that Arby’s next to your friend’s house. Or at the Arby’s 500 miles into a road trip. But always–always–Arby’s related.
