Pop singer Ed Sheeran is joining the likes of and by releasing a weed anthem of his own in 2015.
Sheeran’s been playing the new song, “Sweet Mary Jane,” on his current tour — including a stop at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, where YouTube user ShaMya Williams captured him last week.
And the song — which has Sheeran crooning, “I’m so damn high/Can you see my eyes?” — is it any good? It fits the singer-songwriter’s thoughtful, acoustic brand through and through, but itap hardly adventurous or all that interesting.
