Adams County authorities have identified a 51-year-old man is now being investigated as a homicide.
Antonio Alvarado Ruiz, of Denver, was found dead Wednesday night of a single gunshot wound, the county coroner’s office and police said Monday.
Investigators say Ruiz was found about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 Block North Monahan Street by officers called out to reports of a death.
Police initially called Ruiz’s death “suspicious.”
