Jamie xx, the heartbeat of the xx, broke out on his own this year with the “In Colour.”
Monday night on “Late Night with Seth Myers”, Jamie xx enlisted the support of his two bandmates, Romy Cross and Oliver Sim, to perform one of tracks of 2015, “Loud Places.”
The airy and emotional take also included ex-CU Boulder student and Chairlift frontwoman Caroline Polachek; Pauli and Stella Mozgawa from Warpaint; Jehnny Beth from Savages; Moses Sumney; Okay Kaya and the winner of the evening, the Harlem Gospel Choir. Next month will see the UK producer hit the road in support of the debut solo album with the first stop here in Denver.
