Northglenn City Manager John Pick resigned last week, one day after the city held a closed meeting for “personal matters” where Pick’s performance was reviewed.
Pick was appointed city manager in May 2013 at a $133,000 salary. His resignation .
David Willett, the city’s director of Public Works is serving as interim city manager. Willett has been an interim city manager for Northglenn in the past, and he is maintaining his duties for both jobs for the time being.
Northglenn paid Pick an $88,130.70 severance that breaks down to six month’s salary plus accrued leave time.
City officials say that council will hold several meetings in the coming weeks to decide the best way to find a new city manager.
