Around that same time, they say 20-year-old township resident Connor Kennedy allegedly posted numerous photos of himself with the marijuana plants on Instagram.

Authorities say GPS coordinates in the photos’ data lead investigators to the grow site. And they allegedly found Kennedy tending to the crop during overnight hours.

A telephone number for Kennedy could not be located Sunday. The specific charges he faces have not been released.
