Saturday: Wonderbound contemporary dance company has always been good about sharing the spotlight with other creative types, working with local musicians to create events that are somewhere between dance performance and music concert. Most recently, the company collaborated with the genre-crossing Chimney Choir for “Boomtown,” a piece that explores Denver’s current economic boom. This weekend, the group — with its work as “folk meets world music sound, steeped in psychedelia” — will release the score as a recording and, of course, there’s an album release party at Wonderbound to celebrate. Expect music, plus some dancing and a few songs from indie-pop musician Elin Palmer. 7 p.m. Saturday. Junction Box, 1075 Park Ave West. $12. 303- 292-4700 or .
