A 21-year-old man suffered head injuries after he fell about 50 feet in the Bottomless Pit on Pikes Peak on Tuesday afternoon, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man, who was concious and breathing, will be airlifted to a medical facility, said Larry Borland, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
The El Paso County Search and Rescue tweeted about the fall just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
