
1 Pistol-whipping suspect arrested. Police responded to numerous calls of an armed man in the 1400 block of East Girard Avenue, Englewood, after 9 p.m. Sept. 7. Witnesses said the 18-year-old man threatened several people with a black handgun and pistol- whipped one man. Police spotted him running from the scene and arrested him.
2 Fleet vehicles hosed. The staff at a business in the 8000 block of South Grant Way, Littleton, on Aug. 20 reported gas had been siphoned from four delivery vehicles over the weekend. A clear hose was found in the lot. About 150 gallons of gas, valued at more than $400, was taken.
3 Garage assault. A woman living in the 2800 block of West Long Drive, Littleton, said her husband punched her three times and shoved her into a bookshelf in their garage after she refused to let him in the house Aug. 21. He said he was trying to retrieve some of his belongings after being served with divorce papers that day. He was arrested.
4Despicable child raising. Police reviewed surveillance video from a business in the 100 block of Englewood Parkway, Englewood, on Sept. 5 showing two adults hiding items in the backpack of a child they were with and leaving without paying. Both adults were arrested and the boy was left with his grandma.
5 Getting high in public. Police went to the intersection of South Broadway and Oxford Avenue, Englewood, on Sept. 5 on reports of a man using drugs. They contacted a man with meth in his possession. He also had an active felony warrant. He was arrested.
