A woman was seriously injured Saturday morning after being hit by an RTD train at Lincoln Station in Littleton.
The woman, who was in her 70s, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, said South Metro Fire Rescue spokesman Steve Standridge.
The woman was walking across the train tracks when she was hit by an inbound train, according to a Lone Tree police department news release.
The E-Line is experiencing 15 to 20 minute delays due to the accident, according to an RTD tweet.
