
Denver’s coroner on Monday identified a 28-year-old man slain in a that also left another person wounded.
Isaiah Roquemore was pronounced dead at Denver Health Medical Center, officials say.
The city’s medical examiner’s office said he died of a gunshot wound.
is suspected of first-degree murder in the shooting at the Spyglass Hill Apartments on the 7100 block of East Mississippi Avenue. The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Mahamoud, who police consider armed and dangerous, is described as a black man, 6-feet 3-inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. Investigators say he has a long criminal record that includes charges of murder, assault, sex assault and kidnapping.
Authorities have not identified the man wounded in the shooting.
Anyone with information on Mahamoud, or who sees him, is asked to call 911.
Investigators have not said what motivated the shooting.
