A person was shot Tuesday night in east Denver, police said.
The shooting happened in the 8300 block of East Colfax Avenue, according to a 9:20 p.m. Tweet by the Denver Police Department.
The shooting victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Further detail on the condition of the victim was not immediately released.
Police did not release a description of the shooter, or a possible motive in the incident.
